- SynopsisAction fantasy adventure (a sequel to 'King Kong'). Ten years after the giant ape King Kong fell from the World Trade Center in New York, a team of scientists at the Atlanta Institute in Georgia, led by Amy Franklin, hope to revive the comatose Kong. A new mechanical heart is ready for him, but he still needs a blood transfusion to survive the operation. Meanwhile, in the jungles of Borneo, adventurer Hank Mitchell discovers a similar giant ape, a female, which he sells to the Institute. The resulting operation is a success, but it proves hard to keep Kong and Lady Kong in any sort of captivity for long, and soon they seek their freedom and escape to the wilderness. The army tracks them down and tries to kill them, though Amy and Hank try to help and save them, especially when they realise Lady King is pregnant. (Synopsis)
