Synopsis: Musical adapted from the Broadway musical 'Nine'. In Italy in the 1960s, celebrated film director Guido Contini reflects upon the various women in his life as a creative block on his latest project brings him to a spiritual crisis. His wife Luisa learns of his infidelity with his lover Carla; his muse Claudia demands to see the script that he hasn't written; a journalist from Vogue tries to seduce him; and in his memory his mamma and a prostitute he watched as a boy on the beach teach him different things about manhood and life.
