Synopsis: Adventure. Conclusion to the three-part THE LORD OF THE RINGS saga. Sauron launches his final attack on mankind at the City of Kings, Minas Tirith. The Fellowship of the Ring try to gather enough forces to resist. Only when Aragorn accepts his place as king can he summon enough forces for effective resistance. As the battle for Middle-Earth is fought, hobbits Frodo and Sam continue their journey to Mount Doom, where Frodo must destroy the One Ring. Their deceitful guide, Gollum, has his own plans for the Ring.
