- SynopsisIn 1920s Chicago, Roxie is a chorus girl hell-bent on success. When she shoots her unfaithful lover she ends up in prison where she meets Velma, star of the Chicago nightclubs. The two women compete, both in prison and in court, for media attention and freedom, aided by Velma's defence lawyer, Billy Flynn, who knows just how use the press. (Synopsis)
