Synopsis: A report on government policy which shifts geriatric and post-operative care from GPs to hospitals which are being closed down. Community care was intended to replace psychiatric and elderly in-patient treatment into prepared facilities in the community. But those facilities are not available and the GP has to take on addtional work with no extra staff or premises.
