The Lost City (Original title)
Date: 2022 (Copyright)

Country: USA

Director: Adam Nee, Aaron Nee

Synopsis: Adventure comedy. Jaded novelist Loretta Sage prefers to stay at home rather than go on book tours with the handsome but dim model Alan, who poses as the hero Dash for the cover artwork of her popular low-brow romantic fiction. Loretta is abducted by a young entrepreneur, Abigail Fairfax (who is a man), and flown to a remote island where he believes she can help him track down a lost city he has been searching for. Loretta is soon aided by the formidable Jack Trainer, whom Alan idolises, but when the rescue does not go to plan, she and Alan end up making their way through the jungle, trying to avoid Fairfax's team and get away.
