Synopsis: Action thriller. CIA agent Evelyn Salt is accused by a Russian defector of being a Russian spy planted long ago in the USA with an impending mission to assassinate a certain head of state. Going on the run, Salt travels from New York to Washington, trying to stay a step ahead of the CIA and FBI, who are trying to stop her and find out whether she is guilty or innocent.
