Synopsis: Two versions of this documentary were produced. As a joint commission by RTÉ and BBC Northern Ireland, the RTÉ version (broadcast in a 90-minute slot as AT HOME WITH THE CLEARYS) was for an audience that knew Cleary and contained a lot of Irish history; the BBC version was re-edited and shown in an hour slot as The HOLY SHOW (for BBC Northern Ireland) and as The FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOUSEKEEPER (BBC Four).Synopsis: TV documentary. The controversial story of Father Michael Cleary, at one time one of the most powerful and charismatic figures in Catholic Ireland, who led a secret life with his lover and their son.
