Synopsis: Historical drama about the 18th century battle of Culloden. Blue-beret Jacobites and their leader King James II rise up first in 1715. Then in 1745 young Bonnie Prince Charlie arrives in the Highlands from France to get back the English throne. He rallies Scots, still faithful to the Jacobites cause and slowly works his way south; but when promised French troops don't arrive, he is forced to retreat to Scotland, hunted by English redcoats and he and his fellows are annihilated on Culloden Moor, near Inverness.
