Synopsis: About the relationship between a young, hard-up woman and her elderly benefactor, a retired businessman and former judge who employs her to type his memoires.Synopsis: Twenty-five year-old Nelly is fed up with her unemployed husband and with efforts at making ends meet through a succession of part-time jobs. Through a woman friend, she meets the distant but gentlemanly Arnaud, a retired magistrate in his mid-60s who is writing his memoirs. He offers her work as his typist which she accepts. Their relationship develops.
