Synopsis: In the 1920s, Irish furniture designer and architect Eileen Gray designs and builds E-1027, a modernist villa on the Côte d’Azur. The influential architect Le Corbusier is impressed by the building but her relationship with the architecture critic Jean Badovici creates tension between the two architects that has a detrimental effect on Gray's career and her posthumous reputation.
