Synopsis: Spy adventure thriller. James Bond follows a trail of clues from Mexico's Day of the Dead procession to a secret criminal meeting in Rome, and learns of the existence of a criminal organisation called SPECTRE. In the Alps, he finds the daughter of a SPECTRE member and tries to protect her while chasing the organisation's leading figure, with whom Bond shares a surprising connection. Further adventures in Tangier and the remotest desert lead to some shocking revelations about global surveillance and the very survival of the free world before Bond returns to London for a final reckoning.
