Synopsis: Science fiction thriller. In 1979, a group of friends in an Ohio mining town hope to spend the summer holidays a zombie film called 'The Case' on a Super 8 cine camera. One night as they are filming, they witness a major train crash. Soon, strange events start occurring in the town. People are killed, animals disappear, the military arrives and the friends begin to suspect that the train crash was no accident and that it has unleashed a most unusual creature - one not even of this world.
