Synopsis: Set in 1989 in the SO 36 Kreuzberg district of Berlin, which has been mainly shut off from the rest of Berlin by the Wall and has evolved into an area of artists, students and bohmians. Centres on Herr Lehmann, a barman, who enjoys life in the area, relaxing, drinking and having an affair with the cook. Things start to change however when his parents come on a visit and political turmoil surrounding the Berlin Wall breaks out.
