Synopsis: In Newcastle, Stevie discovers her Italian footballer husband Sonny’s infidelity shortly after discovering that she is pregnant. Her situation becomes even more complicated when she meets and falls in love with kitchen fitter Neil. But Neil’s life is equally complicated as he is responsible for bringing up a five-year old adopted child from Burkina Faso on his own after the death of his wife in a car accident.
