Synopsis: Lancelot, one of the Knights of the round table, returns to Camelot after a failed attempt to find the Holy Grail. He is emotionally torn between his quest for the grail and his relationship with Guinevere. After he is wounded at a jousting competition he rides to a forest and is taken care of by an old woman, while here he hears of Mordred's slanders against Guinevere and rides back to court. After a battle in which Gawain is mortally wounded, Lancelot returns Guinevere to Arthur. Soon after Lancelot hears that Mordred has stirred up a rebellion and in returning to the camp he is killed in battle.
