Synopsis: In rural Korea, thirteen-year-old Mija has formed a deep bond with her grandfather’s superpig Okja. But the bond is broken when the Mirando agrichemical and food processing corporation - headed by self-promoting CEO Lucy Mirando – transport Okja to New York. Mija sets out on a rescue mission but her task becomes more complicated when she crosses paths with a group of animal rights activists who are determined to expose Mirando’s questionable business practices.
