Synopsis: Documentary about the mysterious quartz skulls found in South America and believed to be relics of Aztec or Mayan civilizations. Follows their story and appearance in the 19th century and also scientific analysis of them.Synopsis: Selected as part of Channel Five's documentary series. This programme investigates the origins of the crystal skulls, including the "Skull of Doom", which was first discovered by English explorer Frederick Mitchell-Hedges over 50 years ago.
