Synopsis: Disaster adventure. Global warming has caused large sections of the Arctic to melt into the sea, resulting in a catastrophic change in the world's weather systems. When New York is flooded, and then frozen, a pocket of survivors take refuge in the Central Library, burning books to stay alive. As the whole of the northern hemisphere succumbs to ice age conditions, scientist Jack Hall attempts to rescue his son, trapped in New York.
