Synopsis: The fifth opera in a series of six commissioned by Channel 4, the inspiration for the work comes from Handel's oratorio "The Triumph of Truth and Time". Set in a bizarre world where Beauty, encouraged by Deceit and Pleasure, hopes to become immortal. Opposing Beauty's vain ambition are Truth and Time.
