(Synopsis) Husband and wife Alan Crowe and Carole Ann Stafford make films in their West Midlands home, including a suspense horror film called "Carole". We see their preparations for a vampire musical, including building a set in their spare bedroom. Ian Rintoul won the Movie Maker "Ten-Best" award in 1979 for his 10 minute reconstruction of Pearl Harbour in "29 Seconds To Zero", filmed in and around his home using detailed miniatures and live actors. Max Kemp has been making home movies since 1928 based around the family home of the Priory - known as Priorywood. He shows how different parts of the house and gardens are used as locations, as well as the "Plaza Cinema" used to show the films to friends and neighbours. His wife Dorothy appears in some of the films and makes cakes for the screenings. (NFA Catalogue)
