- SynopsisA pilot production designed to give some idea of how an evening's viewing might appear on the forthcoming I.T.A. channel in London. The programme includes an introduction to a women's magazine show called "WHAT'S NEW?" by Josephine Douglas and advertisements for Fry's Caramets, Kleenex Tissues (featuring Nanette Newman), Frigidaire Refrigerators (featuring Paula Marshall), Quaker Oats and Alexandre of Oxford Street. In addition, an advertisement for "Woman's Own" magazine highlights a new autobiographical series of articles by Noel Coward (played by Dennis Price in the commercial). Two episodes of the television series "STRANGE EXPERIENCES" are included in their entirety: "SAFE AND SOUND" and "KNIFE THROWING" (5 minutes each). These are introduced by Joy Adamson. Both episodes feature Peter Williams, the first of the two also features Peter Sallis (1348ft). (Shotlist)
