- SynopsisMain title (10). "Military Sunday in York" (13). Women file from entrance to York Minster to camera (35); followed by civic dignitaries (68). LS of the entrance with officers in ceremonial regalia leaving the Minster (77). Military bands, not playing their instruments, march from the Minster past camera (124). "London. The Duchess and the donkeys. The Duchess of Hamilton at the coster-show organised by Our Dumb Friends League" (130). Dignitaries on a stage, including the Duchess of Hamilton [Nina Poore] with two of her children (a boy and girl). A young boy, dressed as a pearly king, presents the Duchess with a bouquet. A man addresses the (unseen) crowd (155). The Duchess and her children looking at the donkeys (182). "Guildford. The Veteran Reserve. Inspected by Lord Roberts of Guildford" (185). Eight carriages arrive at the venue, the occupants are not seen (353). Two carriages at the entrance; King George V and the Kaiser (just visible) alight from the carriage. Four women including Queen Mary and Princess Mary alight from the second carriage. [The Kaiser paid a visit to London for the unveiling of the statue to Queen Victoria from 15-20/5/1911].
