Outlines Harold Pinter's early acting experience and training before focusing on his screen appearances. Analyses Pinter's acting technique in both multi-camera studio television and single camera film productions, using four case studies: 'A Night Out' (1960), 'The Birthday Party' (1987), 'Rogue Male' (1976) and 'Catastrophe' (2000).
