- SynopsisAction spy-thriller spanning the period from the end of the Second World War to the 1960s. German teenager Thomas is captured by the Red Army during the final months of the Second World War, wrenching him away from his first love. Brought up at an elite Soviet military school, he is recruited as an adult to the KGB and sent to London to join a network of spies. However, he beings to mellow as he experiences life and love again, falling in love with a young artist. Disillusioned with politics and spying he begins to consider trying to escape. (Synopsis)
