George Lansbury standing with a small group of schoolchildren outside committee rooms, with a large Socialist placard above the window; and a second shot of him standing with a collegaue. "Mr Blair, the Unionist candidate". Reginald Blair leaving the local Conservative party headquarters with a colleague, he walks down the path into the street (60ft). Note: George Lansbury lost the election by 751 votes. The winner, Mr Blair, overturned a Socialist majority of 863 votes. (Shotlist)
