- SynopsisComedy. The story begins in the wake of the Bosnian conflict in London, where two Bosnian refugees who happen to meet on the same London bus begin to fight. When they find themselves in hospital in adjoining beds, wishing to continue their battle, other characters are introduced and interwoven into the story such as a Tory politician's daughter, a trainee doctor; the Bosnian refugee she falls in love with while working at the same hospital; and an obstetrician whose wife has just left him, and who gives shelter to a Bosnian woman refugee who is pregnant.
