- SynopsisDetective Nishi has already lost his small daughter and now learns that his wife has a terminal illness, at the same time he learns that his partner at work has been shot and seriously wounded. Filled with grief at his losses, Nishi decides to do whatever it takes to right some of the wrongs in his life. (Synopsis) The story of a taciturn police detective with violent tendencies who blames himself for the crippling of a colleague. He decides to steal money in order to give his dying wife a second honeymoon and in order to support the widow of another young colleague who was killed in action. Meanwhile, his wheelchair-bound colleague, who is abandoned by his wife and daughter, overcomes his suicidal impulses, in part due to his efforts to express his unvoiced feelings through paintings. (Synopsis)
