- SynopsisOn her captain father's ship, young Pippi sees her father swept overboard in a storm. His last words to her are that they will meet again at their family home in a Swedish village. Pippi makes her way home, where she lives unconventionally, keeping a house full of animals. When she is threatened by local robbers wanting her father's gold, it is Pippi herself, rather than the ineffectual policemen, who organises the rout. On her father's return home, as promised, Pippi decides to stay on dry land. (Synopsis)
