(Synopsis) The BIG STORY attempted to survey the 344 Conservative MPs to find out how they would be affected by Kenneth Clarke's budget. It asked for details of income, directorships, consultancy fees, journalist and TV fees, etc and their basic earnings as MPs. 19 revealed their total income. 3 revealed their total wealth. Some were outraged and refused to participate. MPs appearing include Emma Nicholson, Jerry Hayes, Hartley Booth, Michael Bates, Julian Critchley, Stephen Dorrell, William Hague, Jim Cran, John Watts, Michael Stern, Henry Billingham, David Ames and Michael Fabricant.
