- SynopsisDrama based on a true story. Maggie, a working class Liverpudlian mother of four children living in London, meets Jorge, a political exile from Paraguay. They begin an affair and she tells him about the domestic violence she suffered as a child and the series of abusive relationships she endured as an adult that resulted in her four children being placed in the care of social services. She starts a new life with Jorge and becomes pregnant by him but when the baby is born social services once again intervene in her life. (Synopsis)
