- SynopsisSet in the Russian countryside in 1936 in the Stalinist era. Dmitrii returns to Sergei Kotov's house after an absence of ten years. It becomes clear that Dmitrii is working for the Secret Police and has come to get Kotov arrested as a traitor. (Synopsis) Set in 1936 in Stalinist Russia at the dacha belonging to one of the heroes of the Revolution, his wife and young daughter. Their pleasant world is disturbed by the arrival of the wife's first love, the sinister purpose of whose visit gradually unfolds. (Synopsis)
