- SynopsisTaking as his starting point the murder of toddler James Bulger by two ten-year-old boys, Blake Morrison investigates contemporary images of childhood. The programme takes the form of a poem, written and narrated by Morrison, and included home movuies, film clips, tv adverts and readings from a range of authors. There are contributions from Nicholas Tucker, author of `What is a child?', Christina Hardyment, author of 'Dream Babies' and Gitta Sereny, whose book `The Case of Mary Bell' examined another case of child murder.
