- SynopsisTelevision documentary on the assassination of Robert Kennedy in 1968, which illustrates arguments contrary to those which give Sirhan Sirhan as the lone assassin. Interviews with witnessess to the shooting and previously unseen police reconstructions suggest that Kennedy was killed by a gunman standing behind him, and not by Sirhan who was in front of him. Includes contemporary television coverage and testimony from witnesses who now refuse to speak, and suggests that the CIA and the Los Angeles Police Department have conspired to cover up the truth. Further contrary evidence is shown by the flawed ballistics report and audio tapes of police bullying witness Sandy Serrano into denying she saw the `polka dot dress girl', who is mentioned in several testimonies. The programme illustrates how Kennedy's campaign against organised crime had won him many enemies, notably Jimmy Hoffa. There is also the suggestion made that the CIA had developed a successful method of `hypno- programmed' killers by this date, and that Sirhan Sirhan (who has professed no memory of the event) was one such programmed killer.
