- SynopsisAnimated musical fairy tale. Ariel is a mermaid, and a daughter of King Triton. She in incuriably curious about humans and dry land, but she is forbidden from getting involved in that other world. One day she saves a prince, Eric, from drowning in a stormy sea. Keen to further the relationship, Ariel turns in despair to Ursula, the sea witch, asking her to give her legs. Ursula does so but as a price she demands Ariel's voice. Unless Ariel can receive a true love's kiss from Eric within 3 days, Ariel will become Ursula's prisoner for eternity. (Synopsis)
