- SynopsisACTUALITY. Lord and Lady Overtoun visit a film show at a fairground booth. "Lord and Lady Overtoun's visit to McIndoe's show" (8). Static medium shot showing one half of a fairground booth with a steam traction engine standing beside it. Man walks towards Lord and Lady Overtoun, who are just out of frame (19). Jump cut to man leading Lord and Lady Overtoun and another woman up the steps at the side of the booth (31). Jump cut to more people following after (48). Medium shot showing the whole booth, with the word 'McIndoes' in large letters along the base. Man stands in the centre as as panels are pulled back to reveal the words 'Finish. Many Thanks. Good Night'. He bows. Two raggedy children walk past as the panels close (63). Return to first camera position as the party leave the booth (72). Note: McIndoe's was a fairground show which put on melodramas, and was run by Arthur Henderson, later a theatre and cinema manager in Dundee. It appears that he is the man featured in this film.
