Stuart Cooper, 1972), a documentary about the Australian artist Sidney Nolan with narration by Orson Welles, co-produced by Cooper and Nolan and broadcast by the BBC in its 'Omnibus' strand (tx 26 November 1972) to coincide with an exhibition of Nolan's paintings at Marlborough Fine Art, London. Gili worked on the film as editor. The documents in this sub-series were originally stored in a file labelled 'Kelly Country & Paradise Garden'. 'Paradise Garden' (c. 1973-1974) was a shorter companion film directed by Gili, apparently assembled from footage left over from 'Kelly Country': for notes relating to it, see GIL-2-3, and also the list of paintings in GIL-1-12-1. - GIL-1-12
