- SynopsisAdaptation of the Jules Verne novel. Section only. "Next morning Denver cannot resits the impulse to visit "Mysterious Island" while he is near the spot where he set adrift Prince Dakker's child" (2). Two men in diving suits emerge from the sea. On the beach they discard their diving suits and arm themselves with guns (40). Three sailors come across a shipwrecked man in the jungle of the island. They are seen by the two divers. The sailors explain that they are looking for their yacht's owner Charles Denver. The shipwrecked man takes him to Denver who has collapsed. The sailors, shipwrecked man and Denver return to the yacht - all observed by the two divers (243). Dakker in a rowing boat looks through a telescope (254). The group arrives on the yacht (287). A woman breaks through the palm-woven walls of a hut to help a young man (prisoner?) (300). The two divers return to the beach and their diving gear (310ft). Note: first 100ft has nitrate damage.
