Her Last Affaire - Drama. The wife of a politician is found dead at a country inn, where she had been seen with the politician's secretary. He is the immediate suspect, but has a valid alibi. Director: Michael Powell; script: Ian Dalrymple based on a play by Walter Ellis; cast: Hugh Williams, Viola Keats, Francis L. Sullivan, Googie Withers [Based on a popular stage play starring Gracie Fields, her replacement in the film, Googie Withers, may have contributed to the film not being well received, despite Powell recalling 'we worked very hard on it'] FOR CONTEMPORARY CUTTINGS SEE MLP-1-4-1-1 - 'Michael Powell , the director, has a flair for the handling of melodramatic incident and many of the scenes abound in those little touches which indicate the careful and acute observer' no date - MLP-1-1-37

We should be happy to coincide our viewing with your next trip to London'.
