(Synopsis) The film's original length in 1937 when distributed by British Independent Exhibitors (Distribution) Ltd. was 7500ft. When reissued in 1940 by New Realm as CRYING OUT LOUD, the film was cut to 5600ft. The material held by the Archive is 4508ft and bears the name of the reissue distributor, New Realm, although is still bears its original title of COTTON QUEEN and not that of the reissue. (Shotlist)
