- SynopsisTrcik. The various troubles through which an unfortunate traveller has to pass in order to catch a train. A man dresses to go out. He puts on his hat and coat but as he bends down to do up the laces of his boots, his coat gradually dissolves off his body and slowly appears on the original hook on the wall. He seizes it and puts it on again. He goes in to the breakfast room but the table and his breakfast disappear before his eyes. Eventually he reaches the street, hails a bus, and climbs on top. The horses gradually fade away and the traveller descends to look for them. While he is searching, the bus disappears and leaves him in the road alone. He sits patiently on his case and waits for another bus but it fades away while it is going along. Then he decides to walk, he overtakes another bus and jumps on it. The bus fades ad drops him to the bottom, leaving him to roll in the road. At the railway station the train also fades away. While running for the train, the traveller's bag bursts open, scattering his belongings on to the platform. He trips over them. The next train also fades away, while it is running at full speed. The unfortunate man gives up and sits down on his case. He himself fades away and his case dissolves in a puff of smoke (246ft). (Shotlist)
