Synopsis: After thirty years Mary Whitehouse has retired from her role as head of the National Viewers and Listeners Association. The programme follows her crusade over the years against the exhibition of sex, violence and bad taste in the media, highlighting her concerns over the effects on young people which she and others see now widely echoed across society. Her career is exmined with contributions from friends, supporters and enemies alike.
