Synopsis: Documentary/Conference on the Drug problems amongst young people in London, chaired by Michael Parkinson from the Albany Empire, Deptford. [Based on the LONDON PROGRAMME special SKAG KIDS].Synopsis: It is estimated that London has as many as 20,000 addicts of heroin and other hard drugs. Michael Parkinson chairs a discussion of causes and solutions at the Albany Empire Theatre, at the heart of one of London's most drug-hit areas. Also present are the head of Scotland Yard's Drug Squad and specialists from the fields of addiction research, psychiatry and the rehabilitation of addicts.
