Synopsis: Dr Corrie, to test his theory of the possibility of keeping a brain alive, removes the brain of Max Holt, who has died after a plane crash. It first gives him evidence of the crash and gradually takes complete control of him, to the point of attempting to strangle Anna, Holt's daughter. Rescued by his colleague, Frank Shears, who disconnects the power sustaining Holt's brain, Corrie decides to solve the mystery of the crash and subsequent murders himself and finally succeeds in pinpointing the murderer.
