Synopsis: Family comic fantasy. The story is based on the popular children's books by Angela Sommer-Bodenburg. Tony and his parents have just moved from San Diego to a small village in the Scottish Highlands, and he is discovering it's not easy being a nine year-old in a new country. He is picked on by the school bullies and keeps having the same vampire nightmare each night. But one night, Tony is visited by a large bat which transforms before his eyes into a nine year-old vampire boy - who needs his help.
