- SynopsisBased on a story by Anatole France "Histoire Comique" about ambitious actress Félicie Nanteuil who goes to Paris with her young admirer Cavalier. However, once there she leaves Cavalier and sets up with a wealthy aristocrat. Cavalier commits suicide which ultimately affects Félicie so much that she changes her lifestyle and leads a wiser and more honourable life. (Synopsis)
