- Synopsis"THE GERMAN ATHENAEUM LTD. are invoking the aid of the English law to forcibly eject the Services Club, and as a protest against such action by a company so constituted, any attempt at entering these premises of the German Anathaeum Ltd. will be resisted." (2 frames) . Very large notice hanging from the building in Stratfrod Place which includes the intertitle and a list of the Germans who were board members of the company. A number of onlookers read the notice. An officer enters the club ducking his head to avoid the notice. The notice is raised into a higher position. To the left of the doorway is a makeshift podium (19). A number of speakers, from the podium, address a crowd gathered in the street (42). MS Mr Charles Palmer addressing the crowd from the podium. His name is chalked on a blackboard in front of the podium which describes him as former editor of The Globe newspaper (52ft). (Shotlist)
