- SynopsisThis film is an affectionate portrait of two men, Harry and Brian, who have worked together in Bailey's Shoe Repair shop in the centre of Abingdon for about forty years. Their shop is an Aladdin's cave of old machines, tools, leather off-cuts, out-of-date calendars and, inevitably, piles of shoes. The two men are seen at work, using the skills that have been developed over a lifetime. The film was made during a number of visits to the shop in March / April 2004, which is down an alley off Bath Street in Abingdon.
