- SynopsisAt the end of the last Ice Age, huge areas of land were submerged by rising sea levels. These areas are the most likely to have been inhabited by man. While current archaeological evidence from land-based sources dates the origins of civilisation to around 6000 years ago, author and presenter Graham Hancock believes that evidence for a much earlier date still lies buried beneath the world's seas. In this first programme he travels to the coast of Malta and along the 'Bimini Road' in the Atlantic to try to find evidence to support his theories. (Synopsis)
