Troops marching down London street (51). "ARTISTS O.T.C. V. ST. BARTHOMOLEWS The Artists Rifles beat the hospital team by nine points to three, in a charity match at Winchmore Hill". Rugger match in progress (109). "CHURCH PARADE A fine muster of the 1st Cadet Battalion Royal Fusiliers marching from their headquarters to St Silas' Church, Kentish Town, to attend church parade". Men marching down street behind three drummers. They enter the church (169). "ADVANCE ON THE EASTERN FRONT Russia having replenished her ammunition supply is carrying on a great offensive on the Eastern Front. Gunners setting fuses of shrapnel shells previous to their being fired". Single shot of three gunners setting the fuses of shrapnel shells (211). "RUSSIAN ARTILLERY IN ACTION A battery of heavy artillery in action. The commanding officer signalling to the gunners to fire. Ammunition wagons dashing up with fresh supplies of shells". Continuation of the above. Gunners standing beside their machine guns behind a bank. Firing the guns at a signal from an officer. Two officers looking through binoculars from behind the barricade.
